Jesus on drilling: Shut up!

It's bad enough that I was reviled during my life on earth, and my gifts rejected.

But, what's worse, is that some of you fools continue to put words in my mouth - - - things I never said, things I never would say, things that never concerned me.  Remember, I was a carpenter in a small backwater town in an insignificant colony of the pre industrial Roman Empire.

I never said anything about abortion or gays or guns or the capital gains tax cut.  I may be omnipotent now, but for the life of me, I never could understand what a capital gain is.

And, I certainly never expressed a "Christian" position on drilling.

It's bad enough when those fat guys with oily hair get on TV, put words in my mouth, and in my name con the rubes out of their  money.

But, come on - - I expect better from you progressives.

WWJD?  Tell you to STFU.

Love it and so true!

Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving that there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof.

Re: Stay classy! (none / 0)

Well, I dont know if it was classy...

You were right to call me out for speaking on behalf of Jesus.  I should have employed the literary trick commonly known as snark (as you did), in order to convey my message more appropriately... while speaking for Jesus !!

Cheers =)

Not to this crowd, some of whom would have to bring a dictionary with them to DailyKos, only to Kosnomore.
