Rasmussen O-46 M-45

Tracking poll just released. Obama first lead in a while. I recognize that I cannot be objective but every time the 5'7" John McCain speaks I get shills in my spine. And now we are learning the guy is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. McCain makes Dole (whom I liked) look good. It is no wonder Frank Lutz, who has been remarkably prescient in past elections, is already calling the race for Obama.  The D party nominates very competent candidates for the presidency only to lose to empty suits in the general. I happen to think that Hillary may be more competent (who really knows) but sadly Americans vote for the person they want to have a beer with. In this sense, Obama beats McCain and Hillary.

america elected Gore (none / 0)

was the the person they wanted to have a beer with?  It was the media and the supreme court that elected bush.  America elected bush in 2004, but it was because Kerry was an effete liberal bore in their eyes.  Obama is more like Kerry than he is like Bush in appeal.

I think this year American is ready to elect the person who can best do the job and America likes tough.  That's Hillary.  Obama is not tough, he's just mean and it shows more and more every day. His cracks about McCain are just as snotty and mean spirited as his cracks about Hillary are.  They are, collectively,  sexist, ageist and very arrogant.

That is not going to work in November.

I hope you have a lot of tissue (none / 0)

Since you will be crying in November Teresa when Barack Obama wins.

Also, glad to hear that you aren't a democrat supporting whomever is the nominee.

Re: america elected Gore (none / 0)

What about Hillary's cracks against McCain. When and if she starts attacking him, are you going to defend him?

The American people; they were for the war before they were against it.

Re: america elected Gore (none / 0)

Did you basically just call Obama a big meanie?

I don't know what you think he has said that is sexist, but I would LOVE to hear it.

The worst thing he has said about McCain that I have heard I think is that the straight talk express has a flat tire, due to him now supporting tax cuts that he opposed as he tries to move towards the right for the GE.

Seriously, is this all you got Teresa? Give us examples please, so that I can make sure not to vote for that big meanie Obama.

If you are not voting Obama, please let me know so I can replace your sorry ass with another new voter.

You're kidding, right?  Frank Luntz, Republican Strategist has been PUSHING OBAMA FOR A YEAR.  He so can't wait to run against him, or, because he's Republican like, he'll support him.  I can't figure out which.  I hope we don't find out.
